"I would give them -5 stars if I could"

Just go to a testing center. Pearson VUE has 0 customer support. I am trying to take a test right now, but the OnVUE app got buggy and it froze. I tried to restart the the app, but my code was no longer valid. I was 45 min early, and I still had 30 min before my test started and have been trying to contact them for the past hour. No help, and that $400 down the drain because of Pearson VUE.

The staff got me checked in quickly, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free.

"Had to Chase Them for a Response"
I had to escalate my complaint just to get a basic reply, which was frustrating. Support was SLOW, and when they finally got back to me, they weren’t all that helpful.

"I needed extra time and a quiet..."
I needed extra time and a quiet room for my test, and Pearson VUE handled it better than I expected. The form stuff was kinda confusing at first, not gonna lie, but support got back to me and helped sort it out before exam day. When I showed up, the check-in staff already knew about my accommodations, which was a huge relief. It wasn’t totally perfect, but overall it went way smoother than I thought it would.

"Paid for my exam and it…"
Paid for my exam and it was super straightforward. No issues with the payment at all, and then the receipt showed up pretty much right away. I always get a little nervous with this kind of stuff, but yeah, everything went through fine.

Check-in went really smoothly, and the staff were calm and respectful the whole time. It felt like they were trying to keep things easy for everyone and get people settled without making a big deal out of anything.

"The Worst Company"

On April 14th, 2026, I purchased an Entrepreneurship Exam from the Certiport website to be taken via remote proctoring on April 17th at 1:45 PM. On April 16th at 1:47 PM, Pearson Vue sent me an email with steps to prepare for the exam which included a computer check using their ONVUE application. I proceeded with the systems check using my work laptop in my on-site work office, but found that there were multiple issues involving company monitoring software and the Crowdstrike Firewall. I put in a ticket with our IT department and they were able to log in to my computer remotely on Friday 4/17 and disable several programs that were preventing the systems check from being successful. They were not able to disable Crowdstrike, however. I called Certiport to let them know and ask for advice, but they told me that I would need to contact Pearson Vue, which I did. After being transferred and put on hold multiple times for almost 2 hours, I asked if I could take the test in my employer's PEARSON VUE TESTING CENTER. They said they did not know and would have someone call me in 48-72 hours. Instead they send me an email saying sorry that I did not show up for my test. When I called to ask about the question they said they would answer, they told me that tests have to be cancelled 24 hours in advance or they will not give a refund. The April 16th email was actually sent less than 24 hours before the test, which means there is no way I could have known and cancelled it in time. I proceeded to spend 3-4 hours on the phone with Certiport and Pearson Vue, both of whom told me it was not their test and that it belonged to the other company. After doing some research, I found that both Certiport and Pearson Vue sell the same test from the same website, and that it was, indeed, Pearson Vue that sold me the test. They steal people's money, refuse to take any accountability, outsource jobs to other countries, and have a monopoly; just look at their reviews.

"It did work for my exam, so…"
It did work for my exam, so I can’t really complain too much, but the whole setup just felt kind of clunky and slow. A few screens had me sitting there like, okay… what now? I got through it in the end, but it definitely wasn’t a smooth experience. Just had a weirdly frustrating feel to it.

It worked fine overall, but the ID check took maybe a few minutes or so to go through.

"I used Pearson VUE to book my exam…"
I used Pearson VUE to book my exam, it was smoother than I thought it would be. There were a decent number of times and dates available near me, and changing my appointment wasn’t a headache, which was a nice surprise. It’s not exactly the most amazing system ever, but for what it is, it got the job done

"Quiet, But the Chairs Could Use Some Attention"
It was quiet enough, which I appreciated, but after sitting for a while the chairs got uncomfortable. Kind of felt like the seating wasn’t something they put much thought into

"I used Pearson VUE for an online…"
I used Pearson VUE for an online proctored exam, it wasn’t a disaster or anything, but it wasn’t exactly smooth either. The check-in did work in the end, so I’m not saying the whole thing was awful. It’s just that the camera and room scan steps took way longer than I expected, and that made the whole process feel more stressful than it probably needed to be. The proctor was fine, but when I ran into a small issue, there wasn’t much explanation, which didn’t really help. Overall, it got the job done, but I do think the setup could be clearer and easier

"Pretty smooth overall"
I booked my exam and checked in without any issues, so that was a relief. I was kind of expecting something to lag or go wrong, especially since I was using it at night, but the pages loaded quickly. i’m not sure if I just got lucky or if the site is always that solid, but it was reliable for me.

"Exam worked, but the whole thing stressed me out"
My exam did load and I was able to finish it, but the screen froze on me once and the chat support took a while to respond. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely made me nervous the whole time. i felt kind of stupid for trusting that everything would run smoothly.

I was trying to finish my booking, but the page kept freezing and I’d lose everything. i regret not going through another site sooner because it ended up being really frustrating

"Quick Results, Seems Reliable"
I got my score back really fast, which was nice. Reading between the lines, the accuracy seems decent too — I didn’t notice anything that felt way off. Overall, it does what I needed without much hassle

"Quick and easy"
I got my confirmation fast, and the reminder email actually helped me remember the time. Everything was clear enough. No extra unnecessary back-and-forth, which I appreciated

"Rescheduling was way more stressful than it needed to be"
I tried to reschedule my exam and the whole site just kept sending me around in circles. A date would show as available, then I’d click it and suddenly it wasn’t there anymore, or it would just kind of... disappear. Support didn’t really clear anything up either, so I ended up wasting time and getting stressed over what should’ve been a simple thing. For something as important as an exam, I don’t know, the process really shouldn’t be this frustrating.

"Support was frustrating and didn’t follow through"
I had a problem with my test booking trying to get help was a headache. The website kept sending me around in circles, and there was no easy way to reach an actual person. They make it sound like support will be there when you need it, but that definitely wasn’t my experience. When someone finally got back to me, the reply barely helped at all. Really frustrating, especially when you’re expecting them to follow through on what they promise

"Worked fine, but booking took some effort"
Pearson VUE worked out okay for me, but finding a decent appointment time was really not that easy. Most of the slots near me were either already full or way too far out. I did get booked in the end, I just had to keep checking back a few times
